Mission
To replace all energy derived from nuclear and fossil fuels with a 100% renewable energy system.
Goals
The Safe Energy Project’s goals are straightforward and achievable:
1
To permanently close California’s remaining nuclear power plant;
2
To replace all of California’s energy derived from nuclear and fossil fuels with a 100% renewable energy system in ten years;
3
In accomplishing these efforts, create a replicable model for the planet.
Campaigns
close the diablo canyon nuclear power plant
The Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, located on California’s central coast, sits next to multiple earthquake faults. This plant must be closed. Every minute we wait, we risk a nuclear catastrophe. The Safe Energy Project works to rid California of this dangerous nuclear power plant.
